Here is a bit of a Frankenstein gun for ya. I'm not the original owner and purchased this second hand however it is heavily used and has been made through an assortment of parts. Currently it is NOT working as the bolt has decided to jam (see pics of the bolt half closed, also tried to show the bolt jammed which looks to be in the buffer tube on the last pic) whilst I was taking pics of it, up until that point it was fully functioning so I'm not sure what has caused it to jam. The buttstock is also loose and it doesn't take much to move it out of position and on a funny angle (see pics).
It comes with two VFC GBBR mags that I've never used in game, I do find with both of the mags that you really need to ram them into a rifle to get them to stay in otherwise they do fall straight out (maybe this is the cause of the bolt jamming?). The lower does have HK licensing on it as well safe, semi and full auto markings however it doesn't seem as well done as current models which leads me to believe that the lower may be an early 1st generation VFC HK416D. Parts that have made this machine are listed below:
- VFC HK416D lower (possibly 1st generation?)
- VFC Umarex 416A5 upper
- Unbranded buttstock
- Tokyo Marui 416D Rail
- G&G flip up sights
- Genuine BCM pistol grip
- Flat trigger (think it's a RA TECH, nice to use)
- Magpul sling point
- X2 VFC GBBR mags
This would be a perfect build / project for a tech or someone looking to get into tinkering, if I had the time and resources I would work on this myself and build it to my own personal liking however working two jobs and having just moved out is stopping me from doing this along with other builds that I would rather put my resources into.
