Nearly complete STAR M249 MOD-0 project gun.
Gun fires but need wiring for the box magazine finishing

so here we have my almost nearly finished STAR M249 project that i've had for a while now. (15 years ol)

started it's life as a standard star m249 para but had loads done to it.

Replaced the standard plastic gearbox for reinforced alu one.
Replaced the standard hop unit.
replaced the flip down handguard for a genuine aramament m249 railed handguard.
flash hider replaced with soundhog.
replaced the upper flip receiver for the railed one for red dots.
replaced the stock for m4 buffer tube and heacy caa sliding stock.

the gun is run through the box magazine. the battery for the gun is housed there so you connect the mag and it connects the power through the connector automatically through the 4 pins as shown in pics. super easy to use!


the gun is also extremely lightweight as mostly platic body, with obviusly metal parts like barrel stock tube etc.

Buyer won't regret this purchase for sure.
as you can see by the pics in the gun the wiring goes to mini tamiya for the gearbox and the aeg runs great.

only thing needed to finish the project is a micro trigger run from the other connector to behind the trigger which will feed the box magazine. (pack of micro triggers supplied also :)...)

the gun comes with 2 box magazines. - the material one works perfect, the plastic one is just for parts as it's missing plastic gears in it to run. can be fixed.

this is a fantastic gun and as a near completion piece it will be a great addition to your kit.

compatible with ares parts as it's what ares used to be lol
